Selfportrait Nathalie Kerschen

Nathalie Kerschen is born in 1985 in Luxembourg. She has a licence degree in philosophy from the university of Luxembourg and a licence degree in architecture from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris Malaquais (ENSAPM). After a one year journey in Canada at the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism of the Carleton University in Ottawa as an exchange student, she returned to the ENSAPM where she currently prepares her final study work  for the master II diploma.

In 2007, Nathalie Kerschen created the experimental theater piece ATOM [A POST-MODERN TRAGEDY CONTAINING ELEMENTS OF INCEST AND THOUGHT CONTROL] together with the luxembourgish students Mathias Hoffmann, Cédric Kayser and Max Thommes in the context of the networking program culturia in Berlin, Germany.

During the last years, Nathalie Kerschen designed the packages for the luxembourgish music rock group INBORN.

In Canada, Nathalie Kerschen was the winner of the Stantec Competition 2009 for the best project in the 4th year comprehensive studio in the Azrieli School.

The project  think/green; or cutting plants with neutra designed by Nathalie Kerschen and Benoit Lagacé was shortlisted in september 2009 among 3.700 participants at the designboom competition IIDA 2009: GREEN LIFE in collaboration with the Incheon Metropolitan City in South Korea.

This project and the solo project White Noise of Nathalie Kerschen are featured in the official portfolio Publication in Building 22/09 with best student’s work of the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism in Ottawa.
