VOIDCHRONICLES: the white box

After Ottawa, Luxembourg (Casino & Leslie’s Artgallery) and Charleroi (B.P.S.22), the white box is now arriving at iMAL, the center for digital cultures and technology in Brussels.

The white  box will be exhibited at iMAL, 30-34 Koolmijnenkaai (Quai des Charbonnages), B-1080 Brussels from 27 August to 17 September 2010. Opening hours : Tuesday to Friday : 12:00 – 18:00

The vernissage of the exhibition is on Friday 27 August 2010 at the opening of the Media Facades Festival Europe 2010 (MFF 2010) from 18h30 to 23h30. MMF is an urban media art project that interconnects seven European cities through urban screens and media facades located in public spaces. Artists and media designers will show throughout Europe specially developed art projects, during screenings and Joint Broadcasting Events, opening a global window to create dialogue, share dreams and exchange ideas.

iMAL (interactive Media Art Laboratory), is a non-profit association created in Brussels in 1999. It was founded by individual artists, media producers, interactive designers, software engineers, and by NICC (a Belgian association of visual artists) with the objective to support artistic forms and creative practices using computer and network technologies as their medium. In October 2007, iMAL opened its new venue in Brussels, a Center for Digital Cultures and Technology, a new place of about 600m2 for the meeting of artistic, scientific and industrial innovations, a place entirely dedicated to the contemporary artistic and cultural practices emerging from the fusion of computer, telecommunication, network and media.
