Dominika Dratwa tries to visualize in her paintings an imaginary, idealized hell while exploring the idea of sin in everyday life.

With society's morals and values changing, committing a deadly sin is more frequent and even encouraged.

Drawing on inspiration from Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy, she is interested in interpreting both sin and punishment in a contemporary context, a sort of glamorized version of hell.
